Why do I write? There are three reasons.
Firstly, I write because writing clarifies and simplifies my thinking. “Wisdom is knowing what to overlook.” I was often average in English writing classes, but communication is an essential skill for positions of leadership and responsibility. Moreover, better writing translates to a better experience for readers.
Secondly, I enjoy sharing what I learn. There is a correlation between how deeply I internalize a lesson and how much I share it. This keeps me accountable for my reading habits. Sharing what I learn spurs me to keep learning and reading helpful information.
